Paul and Christine’s first
trip to Africa was to visit Christ Apostolic church in Abadon Nigeria.
This was a major eye-opener, not only to the African traditions, but also
to see an amazing display of God’s miraculous power in action.
Since that time, they have
traveled to Tanzania on many occasions, and more recently to Uganda where
they have conducted training seminars for Vicars and Lay Readers from a
number of parishes. This is a work sponsored by Pip and J’s (St Philip’s
and James) Bristol, and OAC west country branch, and has resulted in many
ministries being changed in Africa from formal Anglican to a desire to
see the Power of God move.
Evangelism has also taken
place in villages surrounding these parishes with the resulting conversion
of many people, including witches and witch doctors.
